Hi, I am Alessio.
I come from Italy but now I am working/studying in Madrid. I am a PhD student at IMDEA Software Institute under the supervision of Marco Guarnieri and Marco Patrignani.
My work focuses on secure compilation against side-channel attacks (especially Spectre-like attacks). The final goal is to formalise a compiler that uses the CASCO framework to produce a safe executable given an hardware contract.
I received a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Trento, with a thesis titled "Conditional template for automated catamorphism synthesis" supervised by Marco Patrignani and Naoki Kobayashi.
Beside academia I love to visit new places, especially historical cities, and I am always behind a good book.
